Are punctures covered by warranty?
No, punctures and tyres are not covered under the Pure Electric warranty.
All tyres (including those filled with puncture prevention fluid) are subject to wear and tear from factors beyond our control, such as surface conditions, the pressure you inflate them to, and how far they've been ridden.
This is no different to other forms of wheeled transport (like a bike) and just like those products, they are designed to be fixed by the rider or a local repair shop.
How to avoid punctures
- Check your tyre pressure every week and make sure your tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure. Pure Electric products should be filled to 36PSI.
- Fill your tyre / inner tube with puncture protection fluid, available from most bike stores.
