Can I get insurance on my e-scooter?
As things stand, because it is illegal to ride a privately-owned e-scooter on public land, owners of e-scooters cannot get insurance.
For use at home they may be covered under your standard home or contents insurance policy, make sure you read the wording carefully. If in doubt contact your insurance provider for more information.
