Currently, privately owned electric scooters in the UK can only be ridden on private land with the landowner’s permission. They cannot be used on public roads, cycle lanes or pavements under current UK law.
Active steering stabilisation is Pure Electric’s system that gently returns the handlebars to centre after turning.
